Sponsored Content

General Information: Construction Executive (CE) Sponsored Content

Sponsored content provides construction industry marketers the unique opportunity to speak to CE‘s audience of top decision-makers in our digital environments using branded content, often referred to as “native advertising”.
Please note: sponsored content is not gated content.
Sponsored content comes in two forms, Web + Newsletter and Newsletter only.

Sponsored content is presented as an article that, in addition to being branded with a clear call to action, also meets the high editorial standards for CE‘s original and contributed content.

This sponsored content is an article that lives on the ConstructionExec.com website. Sponsored content is provided by an advertiser, edited and formatted to CE standards, and published on our website. Sponsored content is also promoted in one issue of the CE This Week newsletter and publicized on CE social media.

Sponsored content is recommended for advertisers looking for long term results though thought leadership.

Many advertisers choose to use sponsored content to offer help and guidance by solving a business problem, while offering the best solution through your products and services. Others choose to use sponsored content for thought leadership. Sponsored content can also take the form of a project or company case study, business advice, blog type articles, or product information. CE does not accept standard press releases as sponsored content.

Deadline

All sponsored content materials are due 2 weeks prior to the CE This Week newsletter publication date unless an extension is granted by the production department. See the “Materials Due” date on your Ad Insertion Order.

If you would like to request an extension, please send an email to digital-ad@magazinexperts.com with an estimated completion date and we do our best to accommodate you.

Statistics

Statistics will be provided a minimum of 7 days after the launch of the CE This Week issue containing your sponsored content. Statistics will include:

  • Total CE This Week circulation
  • Total CE This Week opens
  • Total CE This Week unique opens
  • Category Circulation for the CE This Week category your sponsored content appears in
  • Total pageviews for your article on ConstructionExec.com

Important notes:
If you need statistics provided in a certain format or form, please alert us before your first sponsored content insertion.
Statistics will likely be underwhelming immediately after launch. Sponsored content is best for long lasting results, not fast results. A sponsored content article may see 50 pageviews in a month, but more than 800 over the first year. For instant ephemeral results, CE recommends Newsletter Only Sponsored Content or eBlasts.

Examples

Newsletter only sponsored content alternative to traditional banner ads, while not requiring the work of a full-fledged article.
